Primary Theoretical Orientation: client-centered, cognitive behavioral, systems, and psychodynamic models.

Psychological Services:
  • Individual, couples, and family psychotherapy with focus on client-centered, psychodynamic, and cognitive behavioral techniques.
  • Psychological Evaluations (i.e. diagnostic, cognitive/intellectual, academic achievement, personality).

Specialties: 
  • Multicultural and diversity issues.
  • Depression and anxiety treatment.
  • Self-esteem, coping, relationship issues, adjustment problems.
  • Individual psychotherapy and psychological evaluation for children and adolescents.
  • Forensic evaluations and court-ordered therapy.
  • Diagnostic assessment for ADHD/ADD and Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD).
  • Comprehensive psychological evaluations for child custody, adoption, special accommodations requests, INS I-601 Hardship Waiver Request, U-Visa and F-1 Student Visa Application.
  • Evidence-Based Practices: Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), Crisis Oriented Recovery System (CORS).
  • Fluent in Tagalog.

Clinical Experience:
  • Individual and family psychotherapeutic services to clients ranging from young children to older adults in a variety of outpatient settings (i.e. private practice, community mental health clinics, correctional facilities, domestic violence shelter).
  • Extensive psychological evaluation and neuropsychological testing with children, adolescents, and adults.
  • Treatment of clients with depression, anxiety, bipolar, PTSD, grief issues, anger problems, behavioral problems, personality disorders, family and relationship issues, adjustment problems.
  • Specialized training in working with forensic clients and performing forensic evaluations.
  • Extensive experience in working with underserved, low income, and ethnic minority clients.

  • Crisis Oriented Recovery System (CORS)
